Martin Puchwein is the Country President & General Manager for Novartis Pharma in the Czech Republic. Martin joined Novartis 9 years ago in Novartis’ generics division Sandoz and has worked in various roles across strategy and commercial in headquarters as well as country organizations. Before joining Novartis, Martin was a project leader with the Boston Consulting Group in Switzerland and the US. He holds a Ph.D. in physics and has lived in 5 countries and worked in 7. He is passionate about bringing life-transforming innovative treatments to patients and transforming health care through data and digital.
Cinzia Gussoni is an IT Lead at Novartis with more than 15 years of experience in IT and pharma industry. She enjoys bringing her project management and digital strategy know-how to the service of a valuable purpose.
Cinzia is based in Prague, where she works and lives for the happiness of her two kids.
Josef is 41 years old. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk’s University in Brno. During his more than 15 years of professional career he has gained experience in leading pharmaceutical companies (Bristol-Myers Squibb, Pfizer). He has spent the last 10 years in medical roles in different therapeutic areas and currently works as a medical advisor focused on multiple sclerosis in Novartis. He is interested in the immunological basis of diseases.
Elizabeth Theophille is the Chief Technology Officer & Digital IT Lead responsible for technology strategy, enterprise architecture, digital technology enabling platforms, Advanced Analytics and Robotic & Cognitive Automation Centers of Excellence.

Pavel Kordík works as an associate professor in artificial intelligence and vice-dean for collaboration with industry at Faculty of Information Technology, Czech Technical University in Prague. He is also serial entrepreneur as he co-founded and runs Recombee, a company providing recommender systems as a service to more than 250 companies worldwide. In 2017 he co-founded UNICO.AI with a vision to transform how universities and companies collaborate using a platform combining big data and artificial intelligence with human expertise.
Anna was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 17 years ago. She is chairwoman of the Association of Young Sclerotics z.s. – a patient organization that aims to improve the lives of people with multiple sclerosis. It is focused primarily on newly diagnosed patients, young, not only by age, but mainly by spirit and attitude to life.
